Little Red may be small, but she is about to discover that being small does not mean being powerless.

When a tornado named Twister disrupts the Crayon Carnival and puts Crayonville in trouble, Little Red must find the courage to help.

What follows is a colorful adventure about believing that even the smallest voice can make a difference.

It is a message that feels especially meaningful within the Vail’s Tales collection. Vail was only nine, but the words she put on paper continue reaching readers years later.

Small voices can leave very big legacies.

At its heart: Courage, friendship, kindness and believing your voice matters.
